Levenhuk D870T is a digital microscope that comes with an 8MP digital camera. It is used for microscopy research in medicine, biochemistry, pharmaceutical industry, biology, and ecology. Only observations in the bright field technique with transmitted light are possible. The camera can take photos and record videos of observations for archiving or further use; it can also display images on an external screen to present them to an audience. The microscope's magnification ranges from 40x to 1000x, and LED illumination with adjustable brightness is used to illuminate samples.

The trinocular rotating head is comfortable for professional researchers who spend a lot of time examining samples. The user can look through the eyepieces with both eyes, which greatly reduces eye strain. In addition, the eyepiece tubes can be separated according to the distance that is most comfortable for the user. The 4-objective revolving nosepiece is inwardly oriented, so that during observations the user can see the objective that is in the optical path. The objectives included in the kit are plan achromatic and the eyepieces have a wide field of view.

The stage is complemented by a sample holder for two samples. You can move the stage vertically to adjust the focus, and move it horizontally along two axes to precisely position the sample under the microscope objective. The stage does not have a positioning rack, which makes the instrument more comfortable to use. The microscope's focus is adjusted using coarse and fine focus knobs.

The sample is illuminated by LED lamps installed at the base of the microscope. The lamps are long-lasting, do not require frequent replacement, and operate on AC power. The aperture and field diaphragms allow for setting up Köhler illumination.

In addition to a digital camera, the microscope comes with all the necessary software and driver files. The Levenhuk D870T microscope is compatible with Mac OS, Linux, and Windows, and a USB 2.0 port is used for connection.
If the software included in the kit does not work on your computer, please write to us indicating your operating system and its version (for Linux: platform and kernel version).

Caution: Refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110V device into a 220V outlet or vice versa without using a converter. Remember that mains voltage is 110V in the US and Canada, and 220–240V in most European countries.

The latest version of Levenhuk ToupView for Windows (release date: 20/11/2013) is in eight languages: English, French, German, Polish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Turkish.
