ASIAIR PLUS by ZWO – astronomical photography has never been easier!

ASIAIR PLUS is a smart wifi controller for all astronomical photography applications. It replaces a laptop or even an expensive autonomous automatic guidance system. It also makes the annoying tangle of telescope cables a thing of the past. All you need is your mobile or a tablet, which you will connect to ASIAIR's Wi-Fi. The areas of application are multiple:

• Control of all ZWO USB-3.0 ASI cameras (although cooled cameras will require an additional power supply)
• Automatic guidance in combination with a ZWO mini camera such as the ASI120 Mini
• Control of select mounts, such as Skywatcher or iOptron
• Control of selected DSLR and system cameras
• Autofocus with ZWO EAF Power Focus
• Color conversion function for ZWO color cameras
• Image preview
• Orientation Routine
• Planetary and lunar video recording

ASIAIR PLUS is the third generation from ASIAIR. ZWO is constantly perfecting ASIAIR and the third generation convinces, in addition to its well-known reliability, with its interesting innovations:

• Built-in Wi-Fi antenna, which greatly amplifies the signal and increases the range;
• Four new indicators for the 12 V DC outputs. This allows you to check the battery status and monitor consumption in real time.
• New USB-C port, with which you can connect the ASIAIR Plus directly to the computer to transfer data instead of using the SD card and card reader.
• ASIAIR Plus is now even more compact and lighter. The housing is aluminum and CNC machined, adding robustness and durability.
• Greater operational reliability: The ASIAIR operating system runs on eMMC memory. Through a new “Automatic Recovery Mode” feature, the system automatically detects errors and restores itself.
