Quick view of the product:

  • Prism Type: Roof. Binocular prisms adjust the orientation of the image projected by the lens.
  • Magnification: 12x. The higher the magnification power of the binoculars, the larger the image obtained of the object, but the narrower the field of view (FOV) and the darker the image.
  • Objective lens diameter (aperture): 42mm. The larger the aperture, the more light enters the optical tube and the brighter the image will be, although a larger aperture means a larger binocular.

Levenhuk Guard PRO 4000 binoculars

Levenhuk Guard PRO 4000 is designed for professional use. It combines the functionality of long-range binoculars and a rangefinder, and features flexible adjustments. The binoculars are based on roof-type prisms made of BaK-4 glass. Despite their thinness and lightness, they produce a bright, high-quality image. The optical system is complemented by lenses coated with layers of anti-reflective compound. The binoculars zoom in 12 times, and the field of view is 88/1000 m – with these indicators, you can perform both area and directed observations.

The tester's measurements are displayed on the built-in screen: the user sees them in bright red, which stands out from the background. The device measures forward distance, horizontal distance, and angles. Measurements can be taken as a single measurement or in scan mode; the user sets the mode by pressing a button. Units of measurement can also be selected between meters and yards. The device automatically sets the display brightness by adjusting the light sensitivity. The rangefinder is battery-operated. It can measure a tree-sized object from 4,000 meters, a deer (from 1,500 meters), and a person (from 700 meters).

The device's configuration is flexible. You can adjust the interpupillary distance to your desired settings. The diopter correction function will be useful for nearsighted or farsighted users. Particularly convenient is the mechanism on both eyepieces, which allows users with different vision to adjust each barrel. The eyepiece distance on this model is 15 mm, and to make the binoculars comfortable to use both with and without glasses, they are equipped with fold-down eyecups. If you wear glasses, remove the eyecups to fully open the eyepiece. If you are working without glasses, remove the eyecups and the eyepiece will be in the correct position relative to your eye.

The body of the Levenhuk Guard PRO 4000 is made of a lightweight and durable aluminum-magnesium alloy. IPX6 protection will prevent moisture and dust from penetrating the binoculars, even under strong water jets: the device can be used in any weather, and the optical channel will remain clean. The device's stated operating temperatures range from -10 to +50°C: it can be used both in summer and winter with some restrictions. The body is equipped with a 1/4-inch tripod thread: the binoculars can be fixed in place for long-term observations.

Main features of the binoculars:

  • Working distances of the built-in rangefinder: 4000 m for a tree-sized object, 1500 m for a deer, and 700 m for a person.
  • The device measures direct distance, horizontal distance and angles.
  • The 12x magnification and 88/1000 m field of view allow for both aerial and targeted observations.
  • Mechanisms for adjusting interpupillary distance, diopter adjustment, and screen focus adjustment.
  • The aluminum and magnesium alloy body withstands temperatures from −10 to +50 °C and exposure to water jets.
