Levenhuk LabZZ prepared slides set includes ready-to-use samples in a handy colorful box. Children can start exploring the surrounding world without spending time on preparing slides. This set can be used with any biological microscope designed for observations in transmitted light (with lower illumination).

All samples are divided into groups by categories and combined on slides so that you can easily move them on the microscope stage. The slides are covered with colored paper that has round transparent slots. Each sample is labeled. Samples are stored in a durable cardboard box.

It takes a lot of time to prepare your own slides. In addition, preparing them requires instruments and skills. First you need to make a small cut with a microtome, a special instrument with a sharp knife. Then, you need to flatten the cut with a needle on the stage, color it if necessary, and cover it with a coverslip. However, even if everything is done correctly, the sample may turn out to be unsuitable for study, and you will have to start over.
