The Levenhuk SkyMatic 105 GT MAK telescope with GoTo function is of the Maksutov-Cassegrain type. It offers excellent image quality with high resolution while maintaining a very compact size. Through this telescope you can observe lunar craters with a diameter of only 4.5 kilometers, the structure of sunspots, the belts of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn. Among deep sky objects, this telescope captures stars up to magnitude 12, globular clusters, nebulae and galaxies.
The telescope has an aperture of 102 mm, which is perfectly suited for most astronomical observations. The maximum useful magnification is 204x and its high resolution will provide you with good quality and sharp images.
Two SUPER 10 and SUPER 25 achromatic eyepieces with a diameter of 31.75 millimeters (1.25 inches) are included in the kit and serve as powerful image correction tools. The optics used in the eyepiece are glass with a special coating. The field of view is 50 to 52 degrees.
The telescope comes with a computer-guided AZ 114 GT SynScan azimuth mount. Thanks to the GoTo function, the telescope is capable of capturing any astronomical object with its coordinates stored in the microprocessor memory with incredible precision. This computer system will provide automatic orientation to more than 42,900 celestial objects.
