The Levenhuk Blitz 80s PLUS telescope is a short-focal-length achromatic refractor with a wide field of view that produces high-resolution images. Thanks to its large aperture, the telescope is suitable for astrophotography. It allows you to observe outer space and bright deep-sky objects, though not in great detail.

This short focal length refractor is very compact, making it an excellent device to take with you on trips to the countryside. Furthermore, away from city lights, it provides a sharper and clearer image of the night sky. It can also be used as a spotting scope for terrestrial observations.

The telescope is mounted on a manually controlled equatorial mount. This type of mount is suitable for extended observations. Slow-motion control knobs allow for precise and smooth tracking of celestial objects. The mount attaches to an aluminum tripod. The tripod is stable, height-adjustable, and has an accessory tray in the center. Because it uses a standard focuser, the telescope is compatible with any accessory with a 31.75 mm (1.25 inch) lens tube diameter (sold separately).
