A high-quality astronomy set for ambitious beginners and advanced users: The compact
BRESSER Messier AR-152S/760 telescope with solar filter offers you excellent opportunities for sky observation and photography, together with the
EXOS-2 PMC-Eight GoTo mount. With a large
152 mm aperture and a
760 mm focal length, you can observe extensive celestial bodies with great clarity. The
four-lens achromatic system provides sharp, high-contrast images with minimal chromatic aberrations. The excellent mount offers precise tracking, a powerful GoTo system, and the intuitive
ExploreStars app for easy sky navigation.
The Telescope
A high-quality telescope for night and solar observation: The combination of the
large 152 mm aperture and the
short 760 mm focal length makes the
BRESSER Messier AR-152S ideal for observing large celestial objects. Enjoy the view of the famous M13 globular cluster in the constellation Hercules: Thousands of needle-sharp stars seem to be embedded in a shimmering veil of black velvet before your eyes. With additional nebula filters (not included), you can also admire the famous "Gulf of Mexico" in the North American nebula, as well as all celestial objects listed by Charles Messier in his famous 1781 catalog. The compact design of the telescope offers excellent portability, simple operation, high light-gathering capability, and a very low weight for its size. Thanks to the special design as a four-lens achromatic, even with the fast f/5 focal ratio for a refractor, minimal chromatic aberration and better photographic correction are achieved compared to similar two-lens devices. With the high-quality
solar filter for the objective lens, you can also safely observe sunspots, eclipses, and planetary transits. (Warning: Never point the telescope at the Sun without a solar filter).
The Mount The
EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC EXOS-2 PMC-Eight GoTo mount is equipped with a modern and precise GoTo control system. It consists of a robust
Wi-Fi control unit that provides all necessary interfaces. The
NEMA-11 stepper motors are connected directly to this unit by cable, and an
ST-4 compatible autoguider interface is also available. In addition, the control system supports
micro-stepping mode to ensure precise tracking.
Intuitive Operation via an App and Graphical Star Chart The
ExploreStars app, specifically developed for the PMC-Eight system, impresses with an intuitive and graphically successful user interface. The alignment stars available for system initialization, as well as all celestial objects in the database, are displayed as a star chart with additional textual information. All these objects can be easily viewed and selected.
Powerful Control Unit with Open GoTo for Customization The heart of the control unit is a fully autonomous multi-channel processor with
8 CPUs and a 10/100 Ethernet Wi-Fi adapter with IP function. This allows for remote control via browser, ASCOM, app, or serial connection. With Open GoTo, you can also write your own firmware and upload it to the control unit, allowing for
individual adjustments of the device's functions and the creation of custom object lists.
Polar Finder Included The pre-installed and included
polar finder allows for
quick and precise polar alignment and extended exposure times without unwanted star trails. The integrated
LED illumination unit further enhances the ease of use of the polar finder.
