The telescope features a parabolic primary mirror, an optical design that eliminates spherical aberration by concentrating all incoming light to a single point, resulting in crisp and high-fidelity images. Both the primary and secondary mirrors are aluminum-coated, increasing their reflectivity to 92–95%.
