Levenhuk New Skyline PRO 16" (400/1830) Dobsonian Telescope
Newtonian reflector on a Dobsonian mount. Aperture: 406 mm. Focal length: 1830 mm

As the most powerful instrument in its series, the Levenhuk New Skyline PRO 16" Dobsonian is the master key to unveiling the secrets of deep space. Its 406 mm aperture and 1830 mm focal length enable you to explore our solar system in fine detail and resolve fine structures in distant galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters. This telescope reveals the finest details of our celestial neighbors. On the Moon, it resolves craters, rilles, and ridges as small as 1–2 km, especially near the terminator. You’ll be able to discern spots and swirls within Jupiter’s cloud bands, intricate gaps in Saturn’s rings, and Mars’s maria, polar caps, and dust storms. The phases of Venus become distinct, and you can observe Uranus and Neptune as clear disks rather than mere points of light. In good atmospheric conditions, you can see spiral structures and dust lanes in larger galaxies, gas clouds and dark voids in nebulae, the stellar dispersion of globular clusters, and double and multiple stars. The Levenhuk New Skyline PRO 16" captivates from the very first minute of observation.

Its optical system relies on highly reflective primary and secondary mirrors (92–95%) as the core of its impressive performance. This high coefficient is achieved through a special aluminum coating. For sharp, high-contrast images of planets at high power or for detecting faint galaxies and nebulae, the telescope relies on two key principles: maximum light gathering and exact focusing. With a broad-spectrum aluminum coating for UV and IR, this instrument is versatile enough to study a wide variety of astronomical objects. The primary mirror of the Levenhuk New Skyline PRO 16" has a parabolic shape. This effectively compensates for spherical aberration and adds sharpness across the field of view. The telescope is equipped with a 2" dual-speed Crayford focuser. It includes a 1.25" adapter, giving you the freedom to choose the eyepieces that best suit your observing objectives.

The optical tube assembly (OTA) weighs 36 kg. It is installed on a manual Dobsonian mount, made of sturdy wood and weighing 29 kg. This design makes the mount a reliable and stable platform, capable of withstanding prolonged and intensive use. The package includes essential accessories: Plössl 10 mm and 25 mm (1.25") eyepieces, an 8x40 finder scope, and a primary mirror cooling fan. The fan runs on 8 AA batteries (sold separately).
