The Levenhuk Skyline PLUS 105 MAK is a small telescope for beginning users who want a general-purpose optical instrument for astronomical and terrestrial observations. This telescope works effectively to study the Moon, the planets of the Solar System as well as known deep space objects. It allows you to observe the rings of Saturn, storms on Jupiter, seasonal changes on Mars and atmospheric phenomena on Venus. Double stars, diffuse and planetary nebulae, galaxies and many other objects from the Messier and NGC catalog can also be clearly discerned.
The optical elements of the telescope are arranged according to a catadioptric system. This means that its optical features are integrated into a compact body. The telescope can be easily installed on a balcony. It is practical to take it to an open space for astronomical observations. Fully multi-coated optics provide a sharp, detailed image.
Some experience is required to use the telescope, but its equatorial mount offers more features than an altazimuth mount. It allows you to track celestial objects precisely and fluidly using two slow-moving control knobs. Extended observations can be made effortlessly, allowing more astronomical objects and phenomena to be studied.
The telescope is mounted on a stable aluminum tripod. The tripod legs are height adjustable. The accessory tray is useful for placing the accessories included in the kit and additional ones. Included are two eyepieces with a different focal length, providing medium magnification, and a diagonal mirror used for landscape observations.
