The Levenhuk Skyline Travel 80 is a small refracting telescope with coated optical components. It is excellent for terrestrial and near space observations. This is a perfect choice for beginning astronomers, and will be excellent for first amateur observations. The Levenhuk Skyline Travel 80 telescope is so easy to use that even a child can use it.
The Levenhuk Skyline Travel 80 telescope is perfect for observing the Moon and large planets in the solar system. It is less suitable for deep space observations, although it does provide sufficiently luminous images of bright galaxies, nebulae and star clusters. We recommend always observing away from city lights. It is a practical telescope to take on a trip, as it is light and compact. It comes with a carrying and storage bag, large enough to carry an optical tube, mount and tripod, as well as all optical accessories.
It comes with eyepieces, a Barlow lens and a diagonal prism. The telescope you will receive already has 132x magnification, without having to add any additional components. With these magnifications you will be able to make detailed observations of the craters of the Moon, Saturn, Mars and the atmospheric phenomena of Jupiter. The telescope will also serve as an excellent spotting scope, as it transmits a "terrestrial" (that is, undistorted) image.
It has an altazimuth mount, which is easy to use. The tripod is made of aluminum, with adjustable height legs. It also has a tray for accessories. The optical tube has a small compass designed to quickly orient yourself and search for celestial objects.
