The Standard Field Tripod is a solid, high-quality foundation for using your Meade telescope in such demanding applications as high-power astronomical observation and photography. Its height can be adjusted to observe from a comfortable position, both standing and sitting. The tripod features super strong and exceptionally rigid chrome steel legs, great for dampening vibration. The telescope can be mounted in altazimuth (vertical-horizontal) mode or equatorial (polar) mode using a Meade Wedge or Ultrawedge, available as optional add-ons.
