Refund policy
1. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with current European Union and Spanish legislation, customers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the order without providing any justification.
To request a return, customers must contact Astro Telescopios by email at:
atencionalcliente@astrotelescopios.es
and provide:
- Order number
- Full name
- Products to be returned
- Reason for the return (optional)
2. Return Conditions
Customers may handle and inspect the product only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning, as they would be permitted to do in a physical retail store.
Products must be returned:
- In proper condition
- With all accessories, manuals, and components included
- Adequately protected for transport
Due to the technical and optical nature of the products sold by Astro Telescopios, items that show signs of outdoor use, assembly, wear, dirt, moisture, technical handling, optical alterations, or any use beyond what is necessary for basic inspection may be subject to a reduction in the refund amount proportional to the loss of value of the product.
3. Technical Inspection of Returned Products
All returned products will undergo a technical inspection before any refund is processed.
If any of the following are detected:
- Damage
- Evident use
- Missing accessories
- Insufficient packaging
- Improper handling
- Technical alterations
- Depreciation resulting from use
Astro Telescopios reserves the right to apply a proportional deduction from the refund amount corresponding to the product's loss of commercial value.
4. Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs shall be borne by the customer.
Upon request, Astro Telescopios may arrange collection and return shipping using preferential rates negotiated with transport companies.
5. Refunds
Once the returned product has been received and inspected, the refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase within a maximum period of 14 calendar days.
The refund will include:
- The value of the returned product
- The cost of the standard shipping service originally paid by the customer
The following will not be refunded:
- Express shipping charges or premium delivery services
- Any costs associated with returning the product
6. Refused Deliveries and Order Cancellations
Customers may cancel their order before delivery.
If the order has already been dispatched, the cost of return transportation may be deducted from the final refund amount.
7. Original Packaging
Customers are advised to retain the original packaging, as it provides appropriate protection during return transportation.
If the product is damaged due to insufficient or inadequate packaging during the return process, the customer may be held responsible for the resulting depreciation.
8. Products Damaged During Transport
If an order arrives damaged, the customer must contact Astro Telescopios as soon as possible and provide:
- Photographs of the product and the internal packaging exactly as received
- Photographs of the external packaging and the shipping label showing all shipment details
Customers are strongly advised to inspect the package before accepting delivery.
9. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
For reasons related to safety, hygiene, or the technical nature of certain products, the right of withdrawal may not apply to items that have been unsealed, activated, customized, or handled in a manner that prevents their resale as new products, in accordance with applicable legislation.
