Shipping policy

Shipments from Spain to USA:

Non-EU countries (USA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Andorra...), as well as the islands and/or regions of EU countries (Canary Islands, Ilha da Madeira...) have a door-to-door shipping service. Export and import documentation are included in the shipping price, however your government may request payment of additional fees. Astro Telescopios is not responsible for the additional value that falls on the imported product, but we provide all the support and assistance that the client needs to solve any incident if necessary.

What should I consider about imported products in the USA?

Depending on the value of the shipment, the commodity, and the type of entry, the customs clearance process will vary.

  • De Minimis ($800 USD) – This entry type is part of a consolidated preclearance using manifest data.
  • Informal ($801-$2,500 USD) – This entry type is cleared through customs as part of an informal manifest clearance managed under a Courier bond. Duties may be required depending on classification.
  • Formal (over $2,501 USD) – This entry type requires a formal registration process. Shipments are held for a separate Automated Broker Interface (ABI) entry. Duties and Merchandise Processing Fees (MPF) are required.

Lost order:

If your order never arrived at its destination, let us help you!

First, check your shipping confirmation and make sure you have entered the complete address. If the address has an error, we will be happy to send a new shipment to the address you tell us (although this second shipment will be at your expense).

If the shipping address is correct, contact info@astrotelescopios.com adding your order number. We will see how to help you as soon as possible.

Damaged items:

The last thing we want is for you to be left with an item damaged in transit. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately providing the following information:

1) Photo of the merchandise with the internal packaging: it must show that the packaging used has protected the contents during transport. An image of the damaged merchandise placed inside the packaging, as it originally arrived to the recipient, is required.

2) Photo of the outer packaging, including the shipping label of the transport company: it must show that the shipment was made with the contracted transport company and that the claim corresponds to the shipment. The photo must be taken at a distance where all the information on the shipping label is visible and legible.
Please remember to always check the good condition of the box before accepting delivery.
