AZ-GTi GoTo WiFi Mount with Tripod

The AZ-GTi Azimuth Mount It is very light and compact, capable of supporting optics weighing up to 5 kilograms.

Despite its small size, this mount has computerized control ( GoTo ) for tracking the selected celestial object with a telescope or camera. This is achieved through the Integrated WLAN (WiFi) . The mount generates a WLAN signal that allows you to connect to your smartphone or tablet and control your telescope with Skywatcher's SynScan app for Android or iOS.

With the GoTo system of the SynScan app you can choose from around 10,000 objects. To do this, you must first align the mount. The app offers several alignment methods that make it very easy to use, even for beginners. It wont be necesary no prior astronomical knowledge .

By the way, the software not only allows you to select celestial objects, it also recommends points of special interest and helps to identify them.

Since the SynScan app uses the graphical user interface of your mobile device, the operation is much more intuitive and simpler than that of the manual controls of classic frames.

The AZ-GTi model is equipped with the encoder technology patented FreedomFind. Thanks to this technology, the mount does not lose its orientation even if the optics are moved by hand and large panoramas can be taken with a fine manual adjustment, quickly and saving energy.

By the way, the mount works with batteries or an external battery (DC 7.5~14 V, 0.75 A, positive tip).

The mount is compatible with most photographic tripods through the Standard 3/8" photo thread.
