ASI 178 MC Color Camera

Tips:

The camera is USB3 ready and stops if the transfer speed is too low.

These are the optimal parameters to perform the first tests:

• Discretization (Binning): 2
• Frame Rate Limit: Maximum
• USB Turbo: 97
• High Speed ​​Mode: On
• Hardware Discretization (Hardware Binning): Enabled

The exposure and gain sliders should be set so that they do not strain the camera.

The menu items corresponding to the computer's performance can be configured once a real-time image has been obtained.

In Sharp Cap the model is configured in the "Camera" menu item. If you are using an older computer with Binning 2 and you don't see any images, try Binning 4.
