The MAGUS CBF50 digital camera is designed for use with a microscope. It allows you to take photos and record videos, edit the resulting materials, and organize demonstrations. It is recommended to use the camera in brightfield mode with 40x, 60x, and 100x objectives.
Resolution adjustment
The camera is equipped with a 3.1 MP sensor and has two resolution modes: 2048x1536 pixels (with the ability to record video at 53 fps) and 1024x768 pixels (85 fps). The frame rate in these modes is sufficient for observing moving objects, fast processes, and sample movements without delay. Video recording is smooth, without jolts or freezes in frame transitions, and photos are clear and easy to read.
Sensor
The SONY Exmor CMOS sensor with backlighting and a light sensitivity of 1146 mV at 1/30 s will help you conduct productive research and shooting even in low light conditions.
Data transfer
The camera is equipped with a USB 3.0 interface that is 10 times faster than the previous generation interface. Data transfer occurs without freezes or skips, which helps organize demonstrations and instantly display images on an external screen.
Getting started
The camera includes the necessary software to take photos and record video, edit graphic materials, conduct demonstrations, and perform linear and angular measurements (the function requires calibration, which must be performed for each objective).
Key features:
The camera is installed in the trinocular tube of the microscope or in the eyepiece tube (a C-mount adapter and an adapter ring of appropriate diameter are required)
Two resolution and fps modes for you to choose the one that best suits your needs at any given time
Ability to observe and shoot even in low light thanks to the sensitive SONY Exmor color sensor with backlighting
Accelerated data transfer via the USB 3.0 interface
To work with all camera functions, simply install the software that comes with the device
