A functional way: The robust anodized aluminum housing is shaped like a 31.7mm eyepiece and is compatible with any telescope. Since it is lightweight, your equipment will not have an additional burden. The camera has a C and CS thread mount and, with an adapter, a regular 3.17mm filter thread. Therefore, small CCTV lenses as well as a wide selection of astronomical filters can be connected without problems.

Transmission: A filter protects the sensor chamber from dust and moisture. Omegon Pro color cameras are equipped with a filter that blocks infrared. CMOS sensors also measure incident infrared light and make correct color reproduction in the final image impossible. In contrast, the Omegon Pro mono cameras have an anti-reflective window, which allows ultraviolet and infrared light to pass through in addition to visible light.
