Enter the world of astrophotography. The new BRESSER HD camera is ideal for photographing the moon and planets.

With ST4 autoguiding function and short exposure times, that is, for celestial objects such as the Moon, planets or star clusters. For Astrophotography with long exposure times, low-light deep sky objects such as galaxies and gas nebulae, we recommend the BRESSER Full HD Deep Sky Camera (Art. No. 4959050) instead, with resolution and sensitivity of even larger sensors.
Equipped with the new high-sensitivity SONY IMX225 CMOS color sensor , the BRESSER HD lunar and planetary camera offers amazing image results with very short exposure times , even with simple telescope equipment. In addition, this ultra-modern camera can also be used as an autoguider , for example for active tracking of the main imaging device with SLR camera or CCD astrocamera. The particularly low noise level of this new generation of SONY chips guarantees exceptionally high brightness and does not require cooling. Thanks to the high native pixel resolution of 1280x980 , together with suitable telescopes, it makes it possible to obtain not only very beautiful images of the moon, but also detailed planetary images.

ToupSky pro software included The delivery not only offers the basic functions necessary for recording images and videos , but also many useful special functions for image post-processing and configuration of the Guider. Functions such as live image display, exposure settings, white balance, dark image capture, stacking, time-lapse recordings and much more can be individually configured. Its sophisticated software allows you to easily get started in astrophotography. With its automatic adjustments, you can produce absolutely presentable results without much prior knowledge . If you prefer, simply deactivate the automatic settings and gradually try individual professional settings.

Connect the camera directly to the ST4 connector on your telescope mount and you'll have fully automatic tracking control. This allows long exposures of several minutes to be made without stars producing unwanted line marks due to the ever-present timing fluctuations in a telescope mount. The corresponding ST-4 connection cable is also included with the camera. Thanks to the high light sensitivity of the camera , you will always find a suitable guide star even with very short exposure times . For connection to guide tubes or off-axis guides, the chamber has a 1.25'' plug-in sleeve, a 1.25'' filter thread (M28.5x0.6) and a mounting thread C (1''x1/32'').

IMPORTANT NOTE :

This is not a standalone camera. A computer with Windows 10 / 11 is always needed to take photos and for autoguiding.
