Omegon Crayford 2" (Newton) focuser, for images that everyone will want to admire

Getting clear images is a challenge, both in observation and in astronomical photography, but if you achieve it, you are already halfway there to obtain exceptional captures. The Omegon Crayford focuser is the perfect tool. A ball bearing guide moves the camera and eyepiece smoothly and precisely, so you'll soon be getting exceptional images.

Summary of advantages:

  • 2" Ball Bearing Focuser: Optimize your telescope with a more precise focuser for observing and photography.
  • Easy approach: Hit the mark and don't miss it.
  • 1:10 reduction: Enjoy ten times more precise focusing.
  • 2kg Carrying Capacity – Rely on stability for your camera and all accessories.

1:10 reduction: the trick is in the fine gearing

You should always focus on the Moon, planets and nebulae first. This is important, especially at high magnifications or for astronomical photography, but with the 1:10 reduction it is child's play. Start with coarse focus, using the normal focus wheel, and then switch to fine focus to easily obtain beautifully sharp images.

For your camera and for any eyepiece

Place accessories weighing up to 2 kg. It can even stably mount the heaviest eyepieces and many cameras. You can also lock the focus on a position at any time.

The focuser is completely metal

  • Connection with a 78 mm diameter hole
  • 35mm adjustment range (46mm with extension tube) – more focus reserve than many other focusers
  • Height: 69mm to 2" adapter
  • Includes 2" to 1.25" adapter with filter thread
  • Weight: 710g.

2" or 1.25" accessories - everything you need

The 2" Crayford focuser has a compression ring with which eyepieces and adapters can be held flat. This ensures a firm grip and smooth handling of your accessories. Thanks to a 2" to 1.25" reducing adapter, They can use all 1.25" eyepieces, which can also be screwed on 2" filters.

Changing the focuser on your Newtonian telescope is simple

To attach your new focuser, you only need two more adapters: the tube adapter (item no. 33360), with holes at 86 mm horizontally and 83 mm vertically, and the 80 mm to 78 mm step-down adapter ( art. no. 51120).
