MAGUS SPD2 Polarizer/Analyzer Kit
For polarized light observations

The polarizer/analyzer set is used to enable the polarization technique. It consists of a polarizer and an analyzer. The polarizer is placed in the collector lens and the analyzer in the slot holder, above the revolving nosepiece. The polarizer can rotate 90°. The intensity of the transmitted light varies depending on the position of the polarizer and the analyzer. When they are mutually perpendicular to each other, a complete darkening effect is observed.

Anisotropic biological samples such as blood, urine, synovial fluid, muscular contractile elements, and collagen fibers are studied with polarized light.
