The Omegon 2" Barlow lens offers you good representation and excellent contrast. The use of ED glass minimizes visible chromatic aberrations and sharpens the image. All lens surfaces are equipped with a multiple green bonus to suppress reflexes.

Larger diameter - more options to choose from lenses

With a 2" diameter, you can even use your 2" eyepieces and double the magnification. You save the application of another additional eyepiece. Thanks to the large diameter of the lens, with these large eyepieces you will not encounter the phenomenon of obstruction.

Astrophotography with Barlow lens

Take advantage of the Barlow lens in astrophotography too. With respect to compact objects, sometimes you need an excessive focal length to be able to represent them with acceptable dimensions. The obvious advantage: even when using memory cards for compact digital cameras there will be no obstructions.

You do not always need an extension to twice the focal length. If you use only part of the Barlow lens you can get a factor of about 1.5. You can easily remove the lower Barlow element and insert it into any 2" eyepiece. Therefore, the Barlow element is equipped with a corresponding thread.

To be able to optimally use your filters, there are 2" threads for filters under the Barlow lens and on the reducing adapter.
