The MAGUS CLI18T illuminator is designed to illuminate samples with oblique light, allowing for visualization of relief, scratches, cracks, and other surface defects due to the clear distinction between light and shadows. The illuminator's design prevents any heating or thermal damage to the sample.

The light source is located in the lamp holder. The light flux strikes the object through the flexible double light guide. The position of the light guide is adjusted to create the desired light angle and allows for obtaining the necessary light and shadows for research. It maintains its preset shape and does not need to be fixed.

Brightness is adjustable. AC power supply.
