New technologies entering the optical instrumentation market greatly expand our capabilities. With the Levenhuk Rainbow D50L PLUS 2M digital microscope, Moonstone can not only observe plant and animal cells or microorganisms, but also record the results of their research by taking photographs and videos of the observed samples. The kit includes everything you need to conduct interesting microscope experiments. You can easily share your discoveries by posting the images on Facebook, Instagram, or other social media.

Quality optics
The kit includes three objectives with the following magnifications: 4x, 10x, and 40x. The highest-power objective is equipped with a spring that protects the lens from mechanical damage. Even if you lower the object too far while focusing, the spring will cause the lens to retract slightly, preventing damage to the optics or the specimen. A 2x Barlow lens doubles the magnification of the objective you use. The maximum magnification of the microscope is 1280x!

The lenses are made of high-quality optical glass with an anti-reflective coating that improves light transmission. This allows for high-contrast images where a wide range of details can be observed.

Digital camera
The microscope comes with a high-quality 2-megapixel digital camera. The camera is installed in the position normally occupied by the eyepiece and connected to the computer. The magnified images will be displayed on your computer screen. Children can show the most interesting images to their parents and friends. This setup can also be used by teachers to demonstrate the steps of an experiment to their students. And, of course, the camera allows you to take beautiful pictures and videos of the objects being observed.

A USB cable is used to power the camera and connect it to the PC. Supported operating systems: Windows, Mac OS, Linux.

Combined lighting
The microscope is equipped with two LED illuminations. The lower illumination is used for observing transparent samples, such as very thin slices of animal or plant tissue or microorganisms in a drop of aquarium water. Opaque objects, such as fabric or paper, are observed with the upper illumination. To analyze semi-transparent samples, you'll need to use both the upper and lower illumination simultaneously. You can also adjust the brightness to achieve the best possible image for each sample.

Comfortable and durable body
The microscope's housing is made of metal, making it very reliable and suitable for frequent use. For user convenience, the head tilts at a 45-degree angle and rotates 360 degrees around its axis. This feature is very practical when working in a group, as it is not necessary to move the microscope; simply rotate the head.

The microscope operates on AC power or standard batteries. The camera is charged via a USB cable.

Caution: Check the specifications table for the correct voltage and never plug a 110V device into a 220V outlet or vice versa without using an adapter. Remember that the voltage in the United States and Canada is 110V, and in most European countries it's 220–240V.

Experiment kit
The Levenhuk K50 Experiment Kit will be particularly useful for those just taking their first steps into the wonderful world of microcosms. This kit includes slides with pre-prepared samples, special tools for preparing your own samples, and a helpful guide with recommendations, tips, and experiment descriptions.

Protective case
This product includes a protective case that allows you to store the microscope and all its accessories in one place so nothing gets lost. It also protects the instrument during transport.
