Levenhuk Rainbow 50L PLUS, the perfect combination of beautiful design, excellent optics, and an ergonomic body. Like other models in the Levenhuk Rainbow family, these microscopes are ideal for young researchers. Each model comes with a Levenhuk K50 Experiment Kit with everything you need to explore the mysteries of the microcosm.
Quality optics
It comes with three objectives, allowing you to achieve magnifications of 64x, 160x, and 640x. The 40x objective features a spring that protects it in case you accidentally touch the specimen with the objective lens while focusing. If this happens, the spring retracts the lens slightly, preventing damage. The kit also includes a 2x Barlow lens, which doubles the magnification of the objective lens you are using. So the basic kit allows you to achieve a magnification of 1280x!
The lenses are made of high-quality optical glass and coated with special anti-reflective layers, ensuring that the images obtained are always very clear, sharp, and contrasty.
Universal LED lighting system
This microscope is equipped with two bright LED illuminations. To observe transparent samples, such as cat fur or tiny crustaceans, use the lower illumination. The upper illumination is used with opaque objects (paper fiber, coins, and many other interesting objects). Semi-transparent objects are best viewed using either the upper or lower illumination at the same time. Adjustable brightness allows you to select the ideal illumination level for each sample.
Ergonomic body
The microscope is distinguished by its modern and ergonomic design. The reliable metal body ensures a long service life. The head is tilted at 45 degrees, allowing you to observe samples in the most comfortable position possible, avoiding fatigue even after many hours of work. Furthermore, this head also rotates 360 degrees around its axis, which is very practical when working in a group.
The lighting can be powered by AC power or batteries, for those times when you want to conduct your research outdoors.
Caution: Check the specifications table for the correct voltage and never plug a 110V device into a 220V outlet or vice versa without using an adapter. Remember that the voltage in the United States and Canada is 110V, and in most European countries it's 220–240V.
Perform experiments with the microscope
This microscope is excellent for both experienced users and complete beginners. The Levenhuk K50 Experiment Kit will help you conduct your first experiments and learn a wealth of information about the microcosm.
