With the Levenhuk 3S NG, you can begin your scientific adventures right out of the box with the included experiment kit. This model offers bright field observations of transparent specimens. With a 200x magnification, the microscope is a fantastic introduction to the wonders and mysteries of the microcosm for children, students, and hobbyists.
The Levenhuk 3S NG's 40 mm plano-concave mirror provides sufficient light for observations, allowing it to be used without a power source. This is the simplest and safest illumination system, so children can safely use this microscope. The disc diaphragm allows for controlled illumination of the specimen.
This monocular microscope has a single 16x achromatic objective lens that offers a clear view without chromatic or spherical aberrations. The head of this model sits directly above the stage, but for more comfortable observations, both the head and stage can be tilted to the desired angle using the microscope arm.
The 100x90 mm stage is perfect for observing one or two specimens. To prepare the sample, place it on a blank slide and carefully coverslip it. The resulting preparation is placed on the stage and secured with clips. Using the coarse focus knob, you can focus the view by moving the microscope tube up and down (in 20 mm increments).
The metal construction makes this microscope firm and stable.
The user guide "Fascinating Microscope: Studying the Microcosm" included in the kit will guide you through numerous biological experiments you can perform at home. You'll use the specimens included with the Levenhuk 3S NG microscope and, in just a few minutes, you'll be venturing into the unknown. You'll learn how to prepare samples, conduct experiments, analyze results, and, of course, learn a lot about the world around you in the process.
