The Levenhuk 400M monocular microscope is designed for laboratory research on biological samples. It offers a sharp, high-contrast image and allows samples to be observed at 40x to 400x magnification. This microscope can also be used in medical, educational, and research institutions. The microscope features built-in LED illumination and is powered by batteries or an AC outlet.
The optics are based on a widefield eyepiece and achromatic objectives of various magnifications. The overall magnification level of the optical system allows for work with medium and large structures. The monocular head is inclined at 45° and can be rotated 360°, which facilitates comfortable observations. The microscope is excellent for both individual and group work.
The stage is equipped with two holders; one of them, located just below the stage, houses an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm. There is a special holder for installing light filters (blue, green, and yellow filters are included in the kit). Focusing is performed using a standard coaxial mechanism. Coarse and fine focus adjustment are available.
The illumination system consists of an LED lamp and a collecting lens. It is located on the bottom of the microscope. Illumination brightness is adjustable. Thanks to its battery power, the Levenhuk 400M model is mobile and can be used even in locations where electrical outlets are unavailable.
The body is made of metal, which makes it reliable and has a long service life.
