The Levenhuk 400T model is a classic trinocular microscope with a binocular viewing component and a vertical tube for mounting a digital camera. This microscope is an excellent choice for a laboratory. It will be useful for a medical professional, microbiologist, biochemist, or any other specialist studying biological samples. The microscope uses achromatic optics and has a built-in LED lamp. Brightfield and oil immersion observation methods are available.
The microscope head is rotatable, making it convenient for group work. The binocular viewing component is inclined at 30°, making extended work with the microscope more comfortable. The 10x eyepieces provide a wide field of view, while the achromatic optics allow clear and sharp observation of small details. Objectives with magnifications of 4x, 10x, 40x, and 100x are mounted on a rotating turret. The overall magnification of the microscope ranges from 40x to 1000x. Note that the 100x objective of this microscope allows oil immersion observation. In addition, the 40x and 100x objectives feature a spring-retractable protective mechanism.
The stage is equipped with a mechanical micrometer. Next to the stage are fine and coarse focus controls. Directly below it is a brightfield Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm and a filter holder. Below that is the illumination system, which consists of an LED lamp and a collector lens. The illumination has adjustable brightness and is powered by batteries or AC power. The microscope body is made of metal.
