MAGUS 10PLL 10x/0.25 Plan L WD 5.0 mm Objective
Infinity-corrected plan achromatic objective. Magnification: 10x. Aperture: 0.25

The resolution limit of the 10x/0.25 objective is 1.1 µm.
Chromatic aberrations are corrected for blue and red light, spherical aberration for green light, and field curvature is corrected for 90% of the field of view diameter.

The objective is infinity-corrected. The parfocal distance is 45 mm. When working with a 10/22 mm eyepiece, the field of view diameter will be 2.2 mm. Designed for working with samples without cover slips.

The 10x metallurgical objective has a long working distance of 5 mm. Working distance is the distance from the objective's front lens to the object under study, at which the object's image is in focus. Objects under study can have pronounced topography, for example, printed circuit board samples with different levels of electronic components and semiconductors. A large working distance prevents accidental damage to the objective's front lens or the sample when focusing and when rotating the revolving nosepiece to change objectives.

The lower limit of useful microscope magnification when working with a 10x objective is 125x. Lower magnification will not allow you to distinguish the details of the object in the image produced by the objective.
The upper limit of useful magnification when working with a 10x objective is 250x. Higher magnification is considered "empty" or "useless" because it does not provide new details in the object's image.
With a 10x/0.25 objective, use eyepieces with magnifications from 12.5x to 25x.

Plan achromatic objectives produce an image that is equally focused in the center and at the edges with minimal distortion. This feature is used for digital imaging and for working in conjunction with wide-field eyepieces with a 22 mm field of view.
