The Omegon Super Angle (OSA) eyepiece series represents a new milestone among super angle eyepieces.

Super-wide-angle eyepieces have long been popular due to their extremely large apparent field of view. But only with the OSA is the spacewalk effect, the view through a spacecraft window, almost achievable.

Powerful eyepieces for outstanding telescopes

The essential difference between Omegon's new OSA eyepieces and traditional super-angle eyepieces is their redesigned exterior and interior. The exterior features an ergonomic rubber coating and new eyecups that not only improve comfort but also ease of use.

Regarding the optical system, five glass elements have been incorporated, which, depending on the focal length, are arranged in three or four groups. They give a apparent visual field of 70° with sharp edge representation and virtually no distortion. The human eye can see a 70° field of view very well without having to adjust its vision in the eyepiece. These eyepieces can also be used in relatively fast systems with short focal lengths.

Thanks to a procedure The new wide-range multi-bond system has made it possible to further increase transparency. The edges of all lenses are blackened, and the internal aperture system also contributes significantly to reducing ghosting. The excellent transparency of the glass surfaces, combined with the suppression of reflections, alone guarantees a high-contrast image.

Large assortment of 2" and 1.25" eyepieces

The Omegon OSA series consists of six eyepieces: 38mm, 32mm, 26mm, 20mm, 15mm, and 10mm. The 38mm, 32mm, and 26mm eyepieces are available as 2" versions. They are ideal for observing deep-sky objects and provide enormous apparent fields of view. The shorter focal length eyepieces of 20mm, 15mm, and 10mm are equipped with a 1.25" eyepiece sleeve. All eyepieces in this series are homofocal, meaning you don't have to refocus when changing eyepieces.

You can freely adjust the new eyepiece, that is, you can adjust the distance to your eyes as desired . Even when wearing glasses, you can take advantage of the full 70° field of view.
