Levenhuk MED Calibration Slide is a microscope accessory that is used for calibration of image analysis software. It is a clear glass piece with a micrometer scale engraved on the surface. The scale is located in a circle and is clearly visible under the microscope. The minimum division is 0.01mm. The calibration slide allows you to quickly set up the software for measurements in preferred units of measurement.
Levenhuk MED Calibration Slide can be used with all brands of microscopes.
How to use the calibration slide:
1.    Fix the slide on the microscope stage.
2.    Rotate the revolving nosepiece to select the working objective lens.
3.    Set the camera to the maximum resolution shooting mode, and then take a picture of the scale.
4.    In the image analysis software, select the calibration mode, use the mouse to indicate the maximum visible distance, and then enter the resulting value in real units.
5.    Write down the name of the calibration and double-check the values.
6.    If everything is done correctly, the program will remember the correction factor and, in the future, independently convert the values into the necessary units of measurement.
