Omegon 10 mm and 25 mm eyepiece set - Magnify objects and start recognizing more details A telescope and its eyepieces: Two inseparable instruments like a camera and its objective. Only after adding an eyepiece to the telescope can astronomical objects begin to be visualized and can be magnified. This economical set of eyepieces contains one 10 mm and one 25 mm. Both, 1.25" are a fundamental piece to make the first observations.
25mm eyepiece: first steps in astronomical observation This 25mm model offers a low magnification factor, ideal for searching for a specific object, observing the Moon in its entirety, or admiring other large objects. And when you've had enough fun, switch to the 10mm eyepiece.
10mm Eyepiece: Detailed View The shorter the focal length, the larger the resulting magnification factor. With the 10 mm eyepiece, a medium magnification factor is achieved, allowing more detailed observations of objects. With a 750 mm focal length telescope, a magnification of 75x is achieved and with a 1000 mm telescope up to 100x.
Your observation sessions can look like this: You have already found and observed the Moon with the 25 mm eyepiece, you have compared the dark and light areas and then you discover something on the border between the light and dark area. It appears to be a crater but it doesn't look good. So, take out the 25mm eyepiece and insert the 10mm. You can no longer see the entire Moon, just a section, but in exchange you can feel the crater closer. Suddenly thousands of details appear and you have the feeling of being right there.
