80/400 Blitz PLUS EQ1 Telescope

The Levenhuk Blitz 80s PLUS telescope is a short focal length achromatic refractor with a wide field of view that produces high resolution images. Thanks to its large aperture, the telescope is suitable for astrophotography. It allows you to observe outer space and bright objects in deep space, but the latter not in detail.

This short focal length refractor is very compact, making it a great device to take with you on field trips. Plus, away from city light, it shows a sharper, clearer image of the night sky. It can be used as a spotting scope for terrestrial observations.

The telescope is installed on a manually controlled equatorial mount. This type of mount is suitable for long-term observations. Slow motion control knobs allow for precise and fluid tracking of celestial objects. The mount attaches to an aluminum tripod. The tripod is stable, height-adjustable, and has an accessory tray in the center. Using a standard focuser, the telescope is compatible with any accessory with a lens tube diameter of 31.75 mm (1.25 inches) (purchased separately).
