Here we have a very attractive instrument, Excellently crafted and ideal for beginners. The high-quality optical elements provide exceptionally high-contrast images for this class of telescope. The fixed, bright finder scope allows for quick and easy location of desired astronomical objects, and the 1.25" toothed bar telescope allows for simple focus adjustment. The telescope can be used for terrestrial and nature observations as well as astronomical tasks, such as observing the Moon and planets. The tube is attached to the mount using a standard dovetail bar. The instrument can be fully assembled in just a few minutes without any special knowledge.

We supply the optical system:

- Celestron N 114/1000 optical tube with 114 mm aperture and 1000 mm focal length

- 20mm and 10mm (1.25") eyepieces

- light spot finder

- dovetail mounting bar

- CD with software "The Sky Level 1"

The mount Celestron CG-2:

This parallactic mount provides the foundation for telescopes weighing up to about 3 kg in total. Graduated circles on both axes allow for fine manual adjustments, executed very sensitively via flexible shafts. Unlike the slightly larger CG-3 mount, this device has a somewhat finer declination axis than right ascension axis, and consequently does not offer the same level of fine-tuning. The fully assembled tripod features 1.25" diameter steel tube legs , providing stable support for the mount and telescope with minimal vibration. The accessory plate keeps essential accessories within easy reach. An optional motor for automatic right ascension tracking is available; this motor is already included with the Astromaster MD models.
