Levenhuk 114/500 Skyline BASE 120S Telescope

The Levenhuk Skyline BASE 120S is a classic Newtonian reflector that is ideal for deep space observation. You will be able to observe a large number of nebulae, double stars, globular and open clusters, galaxies, all Messier objects and some objects from the NGC catalogue. You will also be able to observe the Moon and the planets of the Solar System. The telescope is designed for beginning astronomers and does not require prior experience with advanced optical systems.

The 114mm diameter main mirror transmits sharp, clear and detailed images. The kit delivered with the telescope includes two basic eyepieces. The eyepiece with a short focal length provides 125x magnification, while the eyepiece with a long focal length provides 25x magnification. Another optical accessory is the finderscope with a 5x magnification. It is used to precisely point the optical tube at astronomical objects.

Handling the telescope is simple. The optical tube is installed on an altazimuthal mount that allows it to be moved like a conventional spotting scope, horizontally and vertically. The mount is arranged on a standard tripod. The tripod is made of aluminum and remains stable in position even on an uneven surface. You can install an accessory tray on the tripod.
