Newtonian telescope with integrated cooling fan of the main mirror. Opening: 200mm. Focal length: 1200mm

The Levenhuk Ra 200N Dobson Telescope is a 200mm Newtonian reflector for observing deep sky objects such as star clusters, nebulae and galaxies. You can also observe the planets of the Solar System: Mars, Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, etc. as well as its satellites. This telescope will appeal to users with demanding needs who want a complete viewing experience. The telescope is easy to use even for a beginner.

Parabolic primary mirror and active cooling of the optical elements

The parabolic shape of the main mirror minimizes optical distortion when making observations at high magnification. The mirror surface has an aluminum coating whose reflectivity index is 92~96%. This has a positive effect on the contrast and brightness of the transmitted image. You can adjust focus with a dual-speed Crayford achromatic focuser. It has no slack and holds even heavy optical accessories securely for fast and accurate focusing.

There is a cooling fan on the back of the telescope. Accelerates thermal stabilization of optical elements by almost two times so you can start observations faster. The fan runs on batteries (purchased separately).

Dobsonian mount with lateral bearing with brake system to achieve a more regular movement of the tube

The telescope has a classic Dobsonian mount. It has a conventional design and all the advantages of this type of mount, but at the same time its mechanics have been significantly improved. A side bearing with a brake system to achieve a more regular movement of the tube allows the optical tube to be moved a few centimeters up or down. When using additional accessories, this will quickly balance the telescope and maximize stability.

There are graduated scales on the sides of the frame for easy balancing. Additionally, the bearings are sturdy and provide smoother movement, which is important when using the telescope at high magnifications.
