A Maksutov is a compact, chromatic aberration-free telescope, the perfect optic for observing the Moon and planets!

This instrument offers you a complete system to get started in astronomy. The proven Maksutov-Cassegrain lens and mirror system produces a sharp, high-contrast image.

In combination with an Amici prism (see Accessories) for a vertically and laterally correct image, it is also perfect for nature observation, shooting or digiscoping. We have adapters suitable for DSLR cameras. The telescope can also be mounted on a standard photography tripod using the 1/4" connection.

This is an affordable telescope, ideal for getting started in astronomy!

The mount EQ-3 is built for make up for easily the rotation of the earth during observation.
