The EQ-1 mount:
This equatorial mount already offers the possibility of exactly adjusting optical systems to the North Star. You can adjust the polar distance resp. latitude for each observation location. Through the fine movement of the right ascension and declination axes it is possible to sensitively adjust and track objects, a counterweight guarantees the correct balance of the optical system.
We supply the EQ-1 mount in two variants, with a floor tripod or table tripod; The details can be gleaned from the technical documentation. The tripod can be adjusted and positioned with a height of between 70cm and 120cm, and eyepieces or other accessories can be placed in the accessory holder. The table tripod is very compact and lightweight, therefore it is the ideal option for excursions or trips. The smallest EQ mount is extremely light and compact, fitting into almost any travel bag. Beginners can assemble it without problems, even children are able to use it. As an option we offer a tracking motor to mount on the right ascension axis.
