The BRESSER Polaris 102/460 impresses with its modern design and brilliant image quality. Its very short focal length of just 460 mm enables impressive wide-field observations of open star clusters and the Milky Way, as well as the Moon.

The powerful wide-field achromatic refractor in carbon optics forms the core of this telescope. The compact tube with an objective diameter of 102 mm and a focal length of 460 mm ends in a metal 2'' eyepiece focuser , which allows the use of 2.0'' eyepieces with even larger fields of view. Includes a 50.8mm (2'') to 31.7mm (1.25'') eyepiece adapter. With it, the two most common eyepiece sizes can be used in this telescope. In addition to other extras, the set also includes two Kellner eyepieces (25 mm and 4 mm). The robust EQ3 mount and height-adjustable aluminum tripod are the basis for solid observations.

Due to its compact size, this complete system is also ideal for stargazers those who like to travel . It is disassembled and assembled very easily, and can be stored in the car taking up little space.

NOTE : If automatic star tracking is desired , the telescope mount can also be retrofitted with the optional motor assembly item no. 4951400.
