Hyperbolic mirror for better image quality
RC telescopes are equipped with hyperbolic primary and secondary mirrors. Not with spherical mirrors, like Schmidt-Cassegrain systems. This great idea has an advantage: you will get better, sharper astrophotos in a wider useful field of view! Ultra-sharpness is guaranteed thanks to the APS-C sensors, even without concealer. Photos without concealer
Use your astronomical camera or DSLR directly with your telescope. You will no longer need concealer to get photos of stars that are perfectly round and free of chromatic aberration right down to the contour. The 6" RCs are compatible with APS-C format sensors, such as those of the Canon EOS or similar. In the 8 and 10" models you can even use 24x36 mm FullFrame sensors without corrector.
