Ra R66/400 mm ED Doublet Black OTA Telescope

The Levenhuk Ra R66 ED Doublet Black OTA apochromatic refractor is a short focal length optical tube that allows you to make a cursory observation of the objects in the Messier and NGC catalogs as well as observe the relief of the lunar surface in detail. It can perform both planetary observations and deep sky observations. But the main use of this optical tube is astrophotography. The images taken by this telescope are of high contrast and with very sharp details.

The lenses are made of very low dispersion glass that effectively suppresses chromatic aberrations, especially secondary ones and spherochromatism. The wide field of view of this instrument makes it suitable for studying large areas of the sky. The telescope features a dual-speed Crayford focuser that provides smooth, high-precision focusing in all conditions.

The optical tube is made of anodized aluminum and can be installed on most modern telescope mounts. Thanks to its light weight and compact size, this telescope is an excellent option to take with you on field trips. The kit also includes a practical aluminum case for transporting and storing the telescope.
