Two-lens apochromatic refractor with very low dispersion optics. Aperture: 72mm. Focal length: 432mm
The Levenhuk Ra R72 ED Doublet OTA model is a practical optical instrument. The primary use of this telescope is astrophotography, but it is also well suited for visual observation of space, including the planets of the Solar System and various deep sky objects. It produces a contrasted image, allows you to observe even faint stars and provides good vision. At the same time, this optical tube is quite compact and lightweight. This is an advantage on long trips.
This optical tube is an apochromatic refractor with very low dispersion optics. Suppresses chromatic aberrations, especially secondary ones and spherochromatism. The objective of this telescope takes full advantage of the aperture, creating a high-resolution image and allowing you to see fine details of astronomical objects. The mechanics of the optical tube are precisely calibrated and operate smoothly, allowing you to fully concentrate on observations. Thanks to the 2'' dual-speed Crayford focuser, you can adjust the sharpness very smoothly.
The tube body is made of aluminum and has high-quality blackening inside. The quick release thumbscrew allows this optical tube to be installed on most modern telescope mounts. The kit includes a robust aluminum case for transporting and storing the telescope.
Note: The kit does not include the mount, tripod or optical accessories.
