The FF65 is aFlatfield astrographwith an aperture ratio of f/6.4 and a focal length of 416 mm.
Instead of the quadruple structure of the other ZWO FF apochromatics, the FF65 is aThe quintuple reflector with two ED lenses allows for excellent control of chromatic and other aberrations. With its self-leveling design, the FF65 offers significant advantages for astrophotography. It features illumination for full-frame cameras and a fine dot pattern with only minor distortion of peripheral stars.
Optical design
Instead of buying additional flatteners, calculating the backfocus of the flattener, or adjusting the correct distance, you can easily equip this apochromatic lens with different photographic accessories, keep the object in focus, and the entire optical system will be perfectly adjusted for the shot.
The FF65 comes with a removable dew shield, a Vixen/GP viewfinder shoe, a prism guide, handle clamps, and various camera adapters (M48, M54, M68).
The corresponding backfocus applies to these adapters:
176 mm from the M48x0.75 external thread
105 mm from M54x0.75 external thread
130 mm from M68x1 external thread
